Wanted: New Volunteers

MAARS is looking for new Volunteers who are able to work a weekly four-hour shift at our shelter, The Landing, in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. Volunteers should be willing to volunteer once a week for at least one year. An adult must accompany Volunteers younger than 15 years of age.

Current openings:

Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays

10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.

Saturdays, Sundays

10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.

Thursdays, Fridays

5:00–9:00 p.m.

As a MAARS Volunteer Staff member, you will provide all the care, cleaning, and feeding for the flock. You will have the opportunity to interact with all the MAARS birds, finches to macaws, cockatiels to cockatoos!

Van for Sale

Earlier this year MAARS received a generous donation of a Ford E-150 passenger van. Unfortunately, due to the high costs of insurance, it is not feasible that we keep it. All proceeds from the sale of the van will go directly to the care of the birds in the MAARS flock.
