There are lots of ways you can help MAARS meet our bird care, veterinary, administrative, publicity, and financial needs! Shop at the MAARS Store!

MAARS is offering some unique holiday gift ideas featuring the MAARS flock. The MAARS birds have been busy making Paintings by Parrots, and we have great photos of some of the MAARS flock on the MAARS 2018 Flock Calendar and MAARS Holiday Gift Cards. We're also selling copies of a great children's book, Lucky - Based on a True Story.

Help with MAARS Shelter Costs!

MAARS has a new home! You can help with building costs by becoming a member through the MAARS Annual Membership Program, or you can mail your check, made out to MAARS, to: MAARS, Attn: Building Fund, 1360 University Ave W #347, St. Paul, MN 55104.

Become a MAARS Supporting Flock Member!

The MAARS Annual Membership Program gives you and our other loyal MAARS Supporting Flock Members the opportunity to help MAARS on an ongoing, sustaining basis. Your annual financial contribution will allow us to continue to provide and expand our valuable rescue, intake, care, veterinary and behavioral evaluation and treatment, adoption, sanctuary, outreach, and educational services for the displaced captive birds who we meet and the people whose lives they touch.

With so little, you can do so much to change the lives of the birds MAARS serves! On average, it takes $1.00 per day to care for each MAARS bird. Every small donation makes a big difference, and big donations help even more. Your participation in the MAARS Annual Membership Program will help save and improve the lives of hundreds of parrots and other displaced captive birds.

Volunteer Your Time & Expertise

Our dedicated Volunteers perform the duties that make MAARS tick, including caring for the birds at The Landing and providing transportation, avian veterinary care, grooming, education, consultation, fundraising, administration, and other crucial tasks. If you are interested in volunteering your time and expertise to help MAARS, please submit a Volunteer Application.

The online MAARStore is currently open for business! Twin Cities residents can shop online for from MAARS or our affiliates. Items include t-shirts, mugs, books, and fundraiser tickets. There are lots of new products on the horizon, so check back often! We eventually hope to open a walk-in store at The Landing.

Buy "Presents for Parrots"

Help entertain the brilliant parrots at The Landing by purchasing their favorite toys and perches through our Presents for Parrots program! Your order will be shipped directly to The Landing to be distributed to the parrots throughout the year — even the ones who have been more naughty than nice.
