Corn Bread 1

Ingredients
1 c. whole wheat flour
1 c. yellow corn meal
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt (optional)
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 Tbsp. sugar
2 eggs with shells
3 Tbsp. oil (your preference)
1 c. buttermilk
Directions
Grease an 8" pan. Mix dry ingredients. Wash eggs then pulverize
in blender. Mix in oil and buttermilk, then mix in dry ingredients. Bake
for 30 minutes at 350°F.
Cool and cut into small squares. May be frozen.
Variations: Add fruits, veggies, nuts, peppers, etc…almost
anything! |
